When is the 2026 election?
The General Election is Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Polls are open from 8am - 6pm on Election Day.
Am I eligible to vote in these elections?
You must be a registered voter and resident of New Smyrna Beach to vote in the municipal elections. If you've moved recently, make sure to update your voter registration.
What do I need to bring to vote?
Bring a valid photo ID with signature, such as a Florida driver's license, Florida ID card, U.S. passport, or other acceptable forms of identification.
Can I vote early?
Yes! Early voting for the General Election runs October 19-31. You can vote at any early voting location in Volusia County, regardless of your precinct.
Are there contribution limits?
Yes. Contribution limits are $1,000 per person or business, per election (primary and general); $1,000 total of monetary and in-kind.
