When are the 2026 elections?

The Primary Election is Tuesday, August 18, 2026 and the General Election is Wednesday, November 4, 2026. Polls are open from 8am - 6pm.

Am I eligible to vote in these elections?

You must be a registered voter and resident of New Smyrna Beach to vote in the municipal elections. If you've moved recently, make sure to update your voter registration.

What do I need to bring to vote?

Bring a valid photo ID with signature, such as a Florida driver's license, Florida ID card, U.S. passport, or other acceptable forms of identification.

Can I vote early?

Yes! Early voting for the Primary runs August 9-16, and for the General Election runs October 19-31. You can vote at any early voting location in Volusia County, regardless of your precinct.
